Dress - Fasteners

For the dress to be wearable I had to place fasteners that can be removed and put together.

As options I can choose:

I chose to use buttons because it was the easiest option to do. It was the one available unlike the velcro and the zippers which would still need to be purchased from stores. The buttons were already available at home for me to use.

I just sewed the buttons on and made loops of thread on the other side of the dress where the button can be put.

Dress - Lining

The dress I have made is transparent and so wouldn't make it wearable. In order to make it wearable, I would have to put a lining inside it to avoid being too revealing.

I chose a plastic that isn't transparent and is in dark colour to assure coverage.  I just cut pieces of the plastic that fit in the skirt and sewed it on.
